ISOCYANATE PROGRAM

The objectives of the Medical Surveillance – Isocyanates Program is to protect the health of the worker by:

• identifying workers with conditions that may be aggravated by exposure to isocyanates, and establishing a baseline measure for determining changes in health
  
  
• ensuring fitness for work with isocyanates
  
  
• evaluating the effect of isocyanates on workers
  
  
• enabling remedial action to be taken when necessary
  
  
• providing health education
  
  
• compliance with government regulations This process consists of pre-employment medicals, pre-placement medicals, periodic medicals, clinical tests, health teaching and record keeping

SILICA PROGRAM
