Immunization Program

• Walsh & Associates offers a full range of immunizations, dependent upon the need of individual companies.
  
  
• These immunizations may include Tetanus & Diphtheria; Influenza; Hepatitis A; Hepatitis B; and in the Health Care Setting – Mumps, Measles & Rubella; Varicella; and Tuberculosis screening
  
  
• Tetanus and Diphtheria immunization is administered every ten years. Walsh & Associates staff routinely assesses immunization status, when treating an employee who requires post injury wound management.
  
  
• On-site Annual Influenza (Flu) Vaccination Clinics are positively received by all company employees for the convenience factor. Time away from work due to influenza can be decreased offering this service.
  
  
• Hepatitis B immunization is recommended for those people, who are at increased risk of occupational infection, namely those people who are exposed frequently to blood, blood products and bodily fluids that may contain blood (i.e. Health Care Providers, Nurses, Emergency Response Team members, First Aid Providers). Hepatitis A and B immunization is frequently required for employees involved in international traveling. The cost of the Hepatitis A and B vaccine can be covered by the employee or the individual company.
